The Stinson Lake Association (SLA) is dedicated to the protection of the lake and its watershed, as well as committed to connecting lake residents through traditional and new social events that inspire community spirit.
Shoreland protection
Protecting the shoreline is crucial to preserve water quality, protect against erosion, and sustain the overall ecosystem of Stinson Lake.
The NH Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act establishes the protected shoreland — lands within 250’ of the lake. .
Safe Boating
Responsible enjoyment of the lake is important to everyone.
A public boat ramp is located on Stinson Lake Road at its south end near the dam. There are no public beaches on the lake. Parking is limited.
Pursuant to state law, ski craft are not permitted on Stinson Lake. It is also unlawful to operate a vessel at greater than headway speed (6 mph) within 150 feet of swimmers, the shoreline, other vessels, docks or moorings, rafts or floats.
